The site for PackshotCreator has been developed in Drupal 6.22 by potential web developers in order to meet the business needs. The main reason to use Drupal 6.22 is not only because of its popularity but also because it’s free, flexible, and robust and can be easily managed by non geek webmasters.
The site is in 11 languages and conforms with W3C standards and uses many popular and robust modules like Pathauto, Domain Access, CCK, Views, Imagecache, Page Title, Menu Attributes, Easy Slider, CKeditor, Colorbox, Panels and Ctools, and many other small and popular modules to enhance the admin part and the site itself in terms of SEO, Usability and to be more flexible.
However, customized modules were developed to match the requirements of the site. Reporting was a key aspect and thus everything is tracked in terms of reporting. The site is fully functional in all browsers except Internet Explorer 6 using only one style sheet. Basic was used as a starter theme for the site which gives the site a great web 2.0 look and feel. These customized modules make the site even more robust in Drupal by using the API of Drupal. In fact, we have developed our own modules for forms as we needed a customized design and functionalities which Web Form could not offer us.
