Boulevard Pro is a full service Event Production, and Audio Visual Design and Installation company serving the greater New York metro area. The company owners wanted a dynamic website that could keep up with their busy pace, allowing them to easily add news and information about completed jobs. Drupal's flexibility made it an obvious choice.
A customized version of the zen_ninesixty theme was used in combination with the Nice Menus and Lightbox modules to create an elegant and professional look and feel. CCK was leveraged to create custom node types for recently completed "Jobs" (from home theater installations to professional concerts and shows), and "News". Site taxonomy was defined and applied to the custom node types so they could be incorporated into different sections of the site using the Views module.
