Foundation Connect International is a Dutch foundation that seeks to help the poorest people in developing countries. This is achieved by organising small small-scale and sustainable self help projects, particularly in the areas of drinking water, education and health. An important aspect of its method is that all its activities are transparent and that invested funds are spent efficiently.
The Foundation Connect International website reflects its goals to inform visitors about its organisation, people, projects and vacancies, thereby enabling the required organisational transparency. Using Drupal 5.x combined with extensive use of CCK and Views, the website offers well structured content to the visitors while the content can easily be added and edited by non-technical users. Drupal is doing great work and doing it well!
