I disagree, it's a nice clean simple layout
I think you must be looking at another website, excute, for starters it's minimalist, theres hardly any photoshop work.
Not a master peice, just nice and functional, nothing wrong in that.

This is one of the worst sites I have ever seen, What Amateurs.
This site has a terrible layout, with clearly disgusting photoshop abilities.
In addition to that it seems to love misrepresenting propaganda as "history". Picking sides on controversial historical issues is definitely a no-no for sites that want to succeed.
