Documentación y Estudios de Mujeres, DEMAC, es una asociación civil no lucrativa creada en 1985 por la Dra. Amparo Espinosa Rugarcía con el fin de promover el desarrollo integral de las mujeres mexicanas. Tiene su Dirección General en el Distrito Federal y cuenta con sedes en los siguientes lugares de la República Mexicana: Chihuahua, Puebla y Querétaro.
 
This is a site dedicated to encourage mexican women from any stratum to become writers and share their life experiences. DEMAC editorial house also uses this site to promote already published books, most of all written by women engaged in this kind of community, although this is not an e-commerce site for selling books and some tools like chat and messaging are yet to be installed. However site contents are growing each month and visitors participate actively through comments. Site layout is based on a modified Blix theme. CCK, Views and Panels are present throughout the site.
