AKinTu is a private and secure social networking website for groups of people with similar interests, like families, friends, clubs and organizations. AKinTu's private site memebership is based upon invitation only and controlled by a 'super user' who has the ability to moderate any posting by editing or removing unwanted material and moderating their own users by blocking or removing offensive members.
AKinTu offers each private site an interactive and dashboard style network of blogs, calendars, user profiles, photo galleries, videos, forums, private messaging and chat. Members enjoy the ability to create their own photo galleries, track their profile, enter comments, vote on content, hold surveys, host calendar events, share files and communicate with each other securely in private chats, forums and through contact forms. Content posted is visible only to members of the individual private site.
Members of AKinTu are of all ages, however you must be 18 to create a site and become a super user. Membership is free and any AKinTu member may belong to or create multiple private sites, in accordance with the site policies.
