Toh-Atin Gallery is a historic, family-run gallery in Durango Colorado specializing in Native American and Southwest Art. Having begun as traders in Navajo rugs, the family business, owned and operated by Jackson Clark, has a nationwide reputation as one of the finest gallery operations in the country.
This is your source for authentic Navajo rugs and weavings; Indian jewelry and concha belts; katsinas (kachinas); Native American Indian baskets; pueblo, Mata Ortiz and other Native American pottery; animal fetishes; Alaskan ivory carvings; and original Southwest paintings and sculpture (bronze, alabaster and steel).
You will find several types of masks, wood carvings, gourd art by Robert Rivera, Navajo folk art and sandpaintings, etchings and serigraphs, all with a Southwest theme. In addition, we have added beautiful sandstone furniture from an exceptional craftsman in Arizona.
Toh-atin means "no water" in the Navajo language. It is also the name of a mesa on the Navajo reservation.
