Labor Notes is a non-profit organization that has been the voice of union activists who want to put the movement back in the labor movement since 1979. For more than a generation we have faced a steady decline in union membership and power.
We believe its possible to reverse those trends, but it will take an informed, active, and engaged union membership. It will also take a new vision of what unions are and what unions should do. Through our monthly magazine, our books, and our conferences and trainings we are expanding the capacity of rank and file union activists around the country, and promoting a vision of unionism build on the principles of solidarity, democracy and militance.
