Welcome
Montessori House for Children is inspired by the educational pioneering work done by Dr Maria Montessori in the beginning of the 20th century. Her methods employ concrete and interesting classroom materials designed by her which have been copied and maintained to this day. The sound developmental psychology and science of her methods are continued in Montessori schools worldwide and are mirrored in other forward thinking curriculum.
Like Dr. Montessori, we believe that each child is born to learn and naturally is drawn to learning. Our job at Montessori House for Children is to nurture this inborn desire, enthusiasm and joy to its fullest potential.
Our school is located at Lakemont Bend Lane at Mason Rd, just south of the Westpark Tollway. Montessori House for Children is located just minutes from the Grand Parkway and serves many families in the Katy, Richmond and Fulshear communities of Cinco Ranch, Grand Lakes, Grand Mission, Lakemont, Seven Meadows and Waterside Estates.
