SurveyLA Video Wins Preservation Award

The California Preservation Foundation (CPF) has recognized SurveyLA: Preserving Los Angeles with a 2008 Preservation Design Award in the Interpretive Exhibits category.  

CRA Surveys

In close collaboration with SurveyLA, the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) of the City of Los Angeles is conducting historic resource surveys in Hollywood, Westlake, and Wilshire Center/Koreatown.  The CRA invites you to learn more about these surveys and to help identify important buildings that have contributed to the history of these communities.

SurveyLA Recieves Second CLG Grant from State

The City of Los Angeles has received a $20,000 Certified Local Government (CLG) grant from the State of California to assist the OHR in developing a tailored guide for community participation in SurveyLA -- "MYhistoricLA: A Guide to Neighborhood Participation in SurveyLA."

SurveyLA Pilot Survey Program To Start

Pilot surveys for SurveyLA will be launched in late fall of 2008. The surveys will lay the foundation for the successful completion of the citywide field surveys during the three-year Implementation Phase of SurveyLA, which starts in 2009.

We Need Volunteers for the Pilot Surveys

The OHR is beginning a public participation and outreach program for the SurveyLA Pilot Survey program. Community participation and input in SurveyLA is critical to its success.
