For those of you who wondered what happened to that fabulous Get to the Point Program logo in the previous version of the website we are glad to report that it's back.A new feature is the addition of a series of polls to gauage community response to various issues.You'll find the latest poll in the right hand column og the home page.  Express yourself!

Goodnight Island Development moves to next stage!

Studio Internationale have announced that the proposed development at Goodnight Island and Greenwell Point has successfully made it through the Department of Planning's preliminary assessment stage and is now on exhibition. You can view the application here .

Annual General Meeting

President Ron, Secretary Pat and Treasurer Daryl were all re-elected unopposed at the Annual General Meeting held on 17 July 2008. Read all about it here.

The world's biggest garage sale?

Get on down to Haiser Road on Saturday morning 19 April. Most of the street will be holding garage sales. Well, numbers 26, 32, 34, 38, 46 and 48 will at any rate.

Number 32 are not only selling the bits and pieces from their garage - they are selling the entire garage!

Action starts at 8.00 am and concludes at 1.30 pm unless everything is sold before then.

Don't Miss the Easter Fete

The annual Greenwell Point Easter Fete will be held on Saturday 22 March from 8.00 am to 12.00 midday at the Greenwell Point Community Memorial Hall.

This traditional-style fair raises money for the local primary school, charities and community groups so get along and give it your full support.

Jumping castle, fairy floss, lucky dips, plants, bric-a-brac and many
more attractions.
