Mid North Coast Division of General Practice
The Mid North Coast (NSW) Division of General Practice supports GPs to provide quality health care. The Division strives to link GPs with other health providers and the community.The Division is part of an Australia wide network and covers the area from Ulmarra in the north, Stuarts Point in the south and out to Dorrigo in the west.
Over 130 GPs and GP Registrars work in the area. The population of 130,000+ includes a higher than national average of Aboriginal people, over 65s and children. Tourism swells the local population as the Mid North Coast is a popular place to holiday.
