Mindstreaming asks the question, "How can we awaken a mass consciousness of basic human goodness in order to foster peace and create a better world for all?"

Planet earth and its populations face tremendous obstacles at this time. Yet we will fail to deal with these obstacles if we continue to treat only the symptoms. What's needed is a deep response that gets to the heart of the situation.

The single most important task facing us now is to awaken the consciousness of humanity as a whole. As outrageous as it sounds, this is completely within our capability.

How do you feel about the future of humankind and our place on planet earth?

	Very optimistic: I think we can completely uplift this world.
	Somewhat optimistic: I think we can prevent global catastrophe, but I'm not hopeful we can do much more than that.
	I don't have any idea.
	I think we are going down a dark path, but I'm hopeful that some kind of miracle will pull us up.
	We're definately going to hell in a rowboat. Things are extremely bad, and they are only going to get worse.

What do you think is our greatest obstacle to manifesting peace on this earth?

	Basic human nature: We are just too selfish and shortsighted to do it.
	There are a lot of people who want to keep us in a state of struggle so they can maintain their power.
	We don't have confidence in the goodness of our own human nature, and so we just don't believe it's possible.
	It's natural for the world to be in a state of chaos.
	It's out of our hands: There are forces shaping our world over which we have no control.
