Professor Anna Świderkówna - an outstanding papyrologist and an expert in ancient culture died on August 16, 2008 at the age of 83. The funeral took place in Warsaw, at the Powązki Cemetery on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at 14:00.

'I'd like to start next studies but after winning the medal I probably won't have time for it' - says the gold olympic medal winner, Tomasz Majewski, the CSWU graduate in political sciences.

With great sorrow we inform that on August 11, 2008 Professor of our University, dr hab. Tomasz Mazur, died tragically in the Dolomites. The funeral ceremony took place in Radom on Friday, August 22, 2008.

This year main celebrations were held at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw , Dewajtis str 5 in the John Paul II Assembly Hall.
