We’ve been listening to our users since we launched more than a year and a half ago, and now we’ve given you what you wanted: faster speeds, easier navigation and customized pages tailored to your interests.

CBS 2 Chicago has just reported that the Morgan Park High School athletic program is being investigated for the paddling of some of its athletes.

OK, so we have heard of the Green Mill. And yes, we enjoy it very much. With its world-class jazz and intimate setting, it deserves a top spot as one of Chicago's best bars. In its annual issue listing the best bars in America, Esquire ranks the Green Mill as the top-shelf joint in the nation (let alone Chicago).
But we know that our neighborhoods have some darn good watering holes as well (and your editor has spent many an evening enjoying a tipple or two at any number of pubs along 111th Street and Western Avenue.
So we put the vote to you, diligent patrons of our fair neighborhood pubs: What's your favorite? Forgive the short list. Because of space constraints we were forced to pick just a handful of the nearly three dozen places that serve our neighborhoods.
