  1. Drink plenty of water.
    Our bodies require plenty of water to be able to function properly. It allows us to flush toxins from the body as well as burn our food efficiently as fuel to allow us to carry out our activities of daily living (ADL’s). Without enough water, we can suffer from various ‘side-effects’, such as headaches, constipation and lethargy. 2 litres a day is the recommended guideline. Try and avoid diuretics, such as coffee, and carbonated drinks, as this will assist in the depletion of water from the body.
